How to get here

By car from Germany, Villach or Salzburg:
From Salzburg take the A1 in the direction of Vienna and leave the motorway at Thalgau and drive towards St. Gilgen via Hof. After St. Gilgen drive for about 6 km along the B158 to Abersee. Leave the B158 (Exit Stockach - Abarena) and follow the signposts.

By car from Vienna:
Leave the A1 motorway at Mondsee and drive towards St. Gilgen. After St. Gilgen drive for about 6 km along the B158 to Abersee. Leave the B158 (Exit Stockach - Abarena) and follow the signposts.

Take the train to Salzburg and then the bus or a taxi via Hof, Fuschl and St. Gilgen to Abersee (Gschwendt) or to Bad Ischl and then the bus or a taxi to Abersee (Gschwendt).
